Books.

I'm very grateful for good books to read.
In the last month or so I've read 3 great books: these 2 & Caleb's Crossing (which I have lent to someone else). I love it when I find books that I really enjoy, and especially love it when they were gifts.

Joining in being grateful with Maxabella  &  Baby Mac.

  1. I love a good book but it's been ages since I've found one that I've really been able to lose myself in! I might check out your three!

  3. There's nothing quite like losing yourself in a good read.
I've just borrowed a few books from the library in readiness for our upcoming tropical holiday. I never get the chance to properly read these days so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in! :)

  7. I need to get back into reading - pre children I devoured them and now I just can't get into it. I think it's the fact that I always fall asleep!

  9. I've finally got my hands on The Slap at the local library and plan to start it over the weekend. I've heard such mixed reactions to it, not sure what I'll think of it!

  10. I absolutely love a good book but I find these days that life's too short to persevere through the ones that aren't!

  11. I also enjoyed Caleb's Crossing - will have to check out these others. I'm currently reading The Summer of the Bear by Bella Pollen and finding it a gem! Yes, so wonderful to let the story unfold and the imagination go to town! Bliss!
