In my backyard

I'm grateful for visiting wildlife.....
this cockatoo visited us a few days ago...
(it drove our dog crazy!)
he was very noisy, and loved showing off his yellow crest...
I really like cockatoos.
Joining in with Maxabella loves...

  1. Leanne, I can't stand them. Isn't that awful?! They are so pretty and smart, but we have like TWENTY of the buggers roosting in the trees right outside our house. Noisy doesn't even begin to describe it?!?! x

  2. Nice pics - and much more glamorous than our pigeons and magpies! Love the last one with his crest. Have a great weekend. :)

  6. Leanne, I'm laughing! Here in the USA cockatoos are very expensive petshop purchases. I was envious that you live in a place where such exotic birds are part of the wildlife, until I read Maxabella's comment. But they are beautiful, and your photos are great! :-)

  10. Wonderful! We see a few cockatoos flying over but none have come into our yard as yet. Looks like you have some trees they like.
