scavenger hunt

Whimsy...

These gum tree blossoms, photographed while I was out walking, remind me of the whimsical characters from "Snugglepot & Cuddlepie" by May Gibbs.
A story that I loved to read when I was a child.

 Create...
I'm always amazed at how beautiful spider webs are.
It's incredible that each day the spider creates an intricate web only to have it destroyed by people, wind and other things.
This one is in our driveway so will be ruined by my car.
But the resilient spider will just spin another one tomorrow.

Dust...
I was wondering how I might make dust look beautiful.
Here's a very dusty spot. A window sill & the top of a sub woofer.
Tucked away in a corner that has obviously not been cleaned for a while.

Swing...

Shoot...
It's not spring in my part of the world, but I found a few new shoots on the roses in our garden.
A last flourish of growth before winter.

  14. Wow on that spider web shot-that's one to print, frame and hang. I too enjoyed the way you interpreted dust. I've got some spots around my house where I could draw hearts ( or smiley faces or tic tac toe) Have a great day Leanne.
