on the weekend...

On the weekend I went with my lovely sister in law Jane to Cabramatta to do this fabulous food & photography course.
Cabramatta is a suburb of Sydney that is the hub of the Vietnamese community.
We bought banana fritters & chatted to these lovely ladies.
We visited flower shops, fruit & vege markets, fish markets & streetside stalls.

We also stopped at a number of restaurants (a different one each for entree, main & dessert).
Below was our first stop- Duck noodle soup.

It was a great day!
No doubt there will be more photos over the next week or two.

  2. FABULOUS!!! I'm looking forward to getting down to Cabramatta as one of my next suburbs with Max. I feel even more inspired now. I love the ladies and also the plate of ingredients; but the composition of the orchids with the shop sign has really captured my imagination!! Thanks for sharing :)
