photo heart connection

I took this photo on
 21st June, the winter solstice.
The shortest day of the year in the southern hemisphere.
And now minute by minute the days will lengthen, evenings will start to get lighter.
I love that I was able to notice the glow of the sunrise from inside the house, step outside (and across the road) & capture the colours of the morning.
Then, pop back inside to finish making the kid's school lunches.
A moment in time.

  17. It is really too bad that we have to trade off... you with the happiness of days getting longer and us with the sadness of days getting shorter. Beautiful sunrise and moment captured! I love those bare trees against the sky. Thanks for sharing in the Photo-Heart Connection!
