sea eagles

We were told that if we visited Dumbell Island & whistled, the sea eagles would come.
At first they kept their distance, but as we were getting ready to leave this one made an appearance from the northern end of the island.
Spectacular!

  1. Great shot of the gull! Fits right in with the negative space style of photography I posted about today. Also, nice photo of the cliff with fog. Mysterious!

  8. I love the idea of just whistling and an eagle will come, like tickling trout on the tummy, so simple yet effective. Great shot and what a fantastic place to be!
