photo heart connection

I was drawn to this photo for this months photo heart connection.

Perhaps because it reminds me to focus on the moment, the things right in front of me.
Perhaps because it reminds me of the light at the end & along the way.
Perhaps because I spent a few minutes taking some more creative photos before our friends arrived for a beautiful day of fun.
Perhaps because I just like a bit of rust & the colours of the watery blur & light behind.

Maybe it's a combination of all of these things.

  1. I love the texture and depth that rust gives to a piece . . . I think you were drawn to it for all those things and more. :0)

  2. Sometimes it is "just because". But I agree with all your reasons - the stunning watery background, the wondrous light and that gorgeous rust in the foreground.

  4. One might could say you saw the tree in spite of the forest. Thank you for the reminder that it is ok to just "be"

  5. We don't always know why some images speak to us as they do, but you have put into words many reasons why this one evokes everything you mention above. I love the way that words just come when we contemplate our chosen photo.
