nature in the home

I thought that I would join in this week with the nature in the home series at little green shed.
I'm not really one for indoor plants (despite the fact that my father made his living selling them.)
I forget to water them.
However, this poinsettia was a gift that we received at Christmas time & over 2 months later it still looks quite festive.

  2. Blimey I usually kill poinsettias within in days! The central heating seems to make the leaves fall. Thank you for joining me! I hope you will carry on each week. Lou x

  4. I love how cheerful and holiday festive this is! I'm with you - I do NOT by any means have a green thumb and manage to kill any living plant that comes under my care. But you seem to have done a great job with this poinsetta.

  5. It's rare to see a Poinsettia with leaves still after a couple of months - most of those that still linger have only a few at the very top. Yours is still happy and healthy and oh-so-lovely nature in your home! nice collage too. happy weekend to you.

  6. How lovely, well done for keeping your poinsettia going so long - mine only lasted a couple of weeks! I'm terrible with indoor plants too - I've found succulents the easiest (quite forgiving of the lack of water!). Love the little peak into your home. Happy weekend. :)
