wednesday afternoon

It's been unseasonably warm this May, and I'm noticing the beautiful autumn light and loving the gorgeous sun-filled days.
Mandarins and roses in the garden. The last autumn leaves ready to fall. Blue skies.

  1. The light has been amazing, I've been watching it too. Am envious of your mandarin tree, do they taste yum? They look it! Enjoy these balmy days while they last! xx

  4. Gorgeous light in the first shot. If you could send the sun over this way that would be great - total washout here (and it's meant to be summer!). :)

  5. Beautiful light and images! I'm glad you're having such a warm, lovely autumn. We're experiencing a cool, wet spring...in fact, it's raining again today. No mandarins around here, unless they're in someone's greenhouse, but the lilacs are amazing right now! It's funny and fascinating to think of our seasons being opposite. :-)

Hold on to that warm weather as long as you can!!
Our warm weather has just begun, but it took an awfully long time to get here this year

  7. What amazing autumn light, suffusing everything with its golden glow. I really love that last image - so simple, yet nothing more is needed to capture that lovely light and autumn colors.
