spring

This cherry blossom tree sits out the front of my neighbours house. It must be in the perfect position because each year it is always the first to flower. While this one is covered with beautiful pink blossoms, trees further down the street are only just beginning to bloom. These lorikeets, mother and baby I assume, are enjoying the sweet nectar from the flowers.

  5. Oh, how lovely :) I think that the blossom tree in our front yard has completely missed the blooming season ... a few sad, little flowers managed to make an appearance and now the leaves are already starting to sprout, boo!

  9. Gorgeous! Love that first shot. Lorikeets always make me smile, but that is quite something. I can hear mine in the tree outside, might go and sneak a peek :)
