taking stock #8

It's been 5 months since my last taking stock post so I thought it's time!
I've hardly had time (or inspiration) to write or read blogs lately but I'm not ready yet to give up this little space...
Taking stock is a fun way to think about what I'm thinking/doing/dreaming right now....

Making: plans for afternoon outings- this time of year with daylight saving is perfect for this!
Cooking: Persian lamb in the slow cooker for dinner tonight
Drinking : herbal tea & mineral water
Reading: just started "The Secret Chord" by Geraldine Brooks
Trawling: the internet for healthy recipes
Wanting: to continue in my sugar free ways
Looking: for creative inspiration-not doing very much creating at the moment
Deciding: what to get my niece for her 21st birthday
Wishing: I was more organised with birthday presents- very behind with gifts for nieces & nephews
Enjoying: days with few must do's (today is one)
Waiting: to find out the outcome of an important meeting
Liking: warmer weather & getting outdoors
Wondering: how to encourage family time with busy children!
Loving: my alphabetical coffee shop project- had breakfast with 4 friends on Saturday at a coffee shop starting with V. Only W,X,Y & Z to go
Pondering: life (always!)

Listening: sounds of silence right now
Buying: nothing much at the moment
Watching: the killing- love it (just finished season 1)
Hoping: for a lovely weekend

I've just deleted the 2nd half of these prompts- It takes too long!

So this is me right now.....

  1. These taking stock posts are a great idea (that I might have to steal!). I am in a similar place creative wise but trying to claw my way back. Well done on being sugar free - I am reducing my sugar intake but sugar free is still a bit of a dream! Lovely photos. xx
